Richard Charles Knappett born 13 December 1907 Married Frances Elizabeth (Betty) Gurd (born 28 February 1911) on 5 June 1940 at St. James Church, Shirley, Southampton Children: Boy and girl Katie and Pop with Jim bought 33 South Mill Road from the builder, E A & L B Blake, in 1930.Click on the bill to see a larger image. The house stayed in the family. Jim and Bet lived there throughout their married lives and today their daughter Maureen is the owner. Jim was a band leader.
